SAIC UNPLUGGED // BRANDING

- Graphic Design USA - American Inhouse Design Award 2017

Client  SAIC Sustainability, The School of Art Institute Chicago, 02/2017

SAIC Unplugged is a campus-wide energy reduction competition during the month of February. The academic building and residence hall with the greatest percentage of energy reduction compared to typical use win a building-wide celebration, and a year of bragging rights.

The design aims to be fun and unconventional. Instead of using traditional energy conservation iconography, I combined tips of energy-saving with letterforms. A simple blue-green gradient evolved from SAIC branding colors serves as the main color & style theme.

REFILL REUSE RECYCLE // BRANDING

Client  SAIC Sustainability, The School of Art Institute Chicago, 03/2018

REFILL, RESUE, RECYCLE is a campus-wide campaign to promote and encourage the use of reusable thermoses. Events include pledge signing, the giving away of other pins and bracelets with the campaign logo and etc. The campaign focuses in educating the SAIC community about the non-recyclability of disposable cups and promoting the discounts to encourage a behavior around campus and online.
